Senate Meeting notes: 2-16-11
URGENT! We sill need some spots filled for selling tickets! If you could and would be willing to sign up for a few more spots on the two weeks leading up to M.M., I would really appreciate it! I will sign off on it being service hours if any of you are needing some. Thanks! 1. Murder Mystery
a. Discuss theme- Flower Centerpieces
b. Find easels for displaying art- Get from the library? Ask Annika how many we need
d. Ordering catering, food options- Chicken, veggie and glutton-free
e. Publicity, how to get people there- email, newsletter, postcards, poster, chapel announcement, blog, Facebook, video? (amber and Morgan ask at next rehearsal)
f. Ticket costs, One for $7 or two for $10- Sell 100, start 2 weeks before event, sign up sheet next week.

2.Meeting times: Wednesdays, 4:30-5:30 unless otherwise indicated
-- Probably only 3 people who might come late or leave early, other than that, everyone should be present
-- every week unless stated otherwise
3.Bethany Update
-- shes engaged, yay!
-- senate road trip to wedding = awesome!
4.Senate guidelines and contracts
-- Sign and return to Kelsey
5.Sign up for interview times, sign contacts sheets
-- Nathan- Friday, 10:30 (Brit in interview)
-- Morgan- Friday, 10:45 (Katherine in interview)
-- Stacy- Friday, 11:45 (Amber in interview)
-- Elizabeth- Friday, 12:00 (Amber? in interview)

a.Tuesday Teas
-- same time, 3-4
-- Trial run for once a month, decided best to keep it as is. Daniel says, "every week since deep dish is spaced out". Brit suggests "every week". Mary, Kat and Nathan agree with Daniel. Point made that people who come REALLY enjoy it.
b.Tuesday Honors Chapels

- Signs for Book Drive- Donate freshmen common reading books

· There is a new lady specifically in charge of book drives at the company we work with, and she is emailing all the professors about the book drive
